Welcome to Intro to Neuroscience Blog Site

Dear Students,

I have so many problems with loading pictures on to the Edublog site that I have given up altogether. This is a much simpler option. Please leave comments as you have questions.

How to use this site

This blog site is for the course Introduction to Neuroscience and is meant to be used IN CONJUNCTION with a textbook and other online resources. The individual topic pages (above) are provided to be a template for your own study. Use the content as a starting place in addition to the course lectures and textbook readings. This blog is meant as an additional resource for the course.

For those graduate students who are reviewing for the COMPREHENSIVE EXAM. The items in red on the topic pages indicate that you should stop. Make sure that you understand the terms or answer the questions before going on to the next roman numeral page. Pages V, VI, VII and VIII were written with the assumption that you fully understand Pages I-IV. Also- I've included a page that includes topics used for the comprehensive exam questions. These questions assume, at the very least, a working knowledge of the information provided on Pages I-IV.

The posts represent additional information that you may find interesting. Feel free to use the comment section to communicate with me about the postings or about the topic pages. I wish to support your in your learning of the fascinating topics and intriguing questions within brain science.
